The Challenge

The client needed to process and visualize large volumes of real-time financial data with sub-second latency. The existing prototype was built with outdated technology that couldn't scale. They required a modern, responsive dashboard that worked flawlessly on desktop and tablet while handling complex data aggregation on the fly.

The Solution

We built the dashboard using React with D3.js for custom financial charts and WebSocket connections for real-time data streaming. The backend uses Node.js with Redis caching and PostgreSQL for historical data. We implemented a modular widget system that allows users to customize their dashboard layout with drag-and-drop functionality.
